Usage data

During your visit to our website, usage data is temporarily stored on our web server as a log for statistical purposes in order to improve the quality of our web pages. This data record consists of

  • the page from which the file was requested,
  • the name of the file,

We store the full IP address transmitted by your web browser for a period of fourteen days for a strictly limited purpose, in the interest of being able to detect, limit and eliminate attacks on our websites. After this period, we delete or anonymize the IP address. The legal basis is art. 6 para. 1 p. 1 (f) of the German Data Protection Act (DSGVO).

2. TRANSFER OF DATA TO THIRD PARTIES

Transfer of data to third-party service providers

We transfer your data within the scope of order processing pursuant to article 28 of the German Data Protection Regulation (DSGVO) to third party service providers who support us in the operation of our websites and related processes. Those service providers are strictly bound by instructions and are   contractually obligated as such. The following service providers are part of our network: room meets freiland Gruppe, Hamburg/Vienna/Oslo (Internet and design agency), Host Europe GmbH, Cologne  (Internet hosting), TeHa-Systems GmbH & Co. 3. COOKIES

We use cookies on our websites. Cookies are small text files that are stored on your device and that can be used to read data. A distinction is made between session cookies, which are deleted as soon as you close your browser, and permanent cookies, which are stored beyond the individual session. Cookies can contain data that make it possible to recognize the device used. In some cases, however, cookies only contain information about certain settings that cannot be related to a specific person.

You can configure your browser so that it informs you about the placement of cookies. In this way, the use of cookies becomes more transparent so that you can see how they are being used. You can also delete cookies at any time via the relevant browser setting and prevent the setting of new ones. Please note that our websites may then not be displayed optimally and some functions may no longer be available due to technical reasons.

4. NECESSARY COOKIES

We use cookies that are necessary for the use of our websites.

These cookies are not used for analysis, tracking or advertising purposes.

In some cases, these cookies only contain information about certain settings and are not personally identifiable. They may also be necessary to enable user navigation, security and transposition of the site.

We use these cookies based on art. 6 para. 1 p. 1 (f) German Data Protection Regulation (DSGVO).

5. TRACKING TOOLS

To design our websites in line with customer needs, we use the web analytics tool „Piwik PRO“. Piwik PRO creates usage profiles based on pseudonyms. For this purpose, permanent cookies are stored on your device and the information is then processed further at our end. In this way, we are able to recognize returning visitors and tally them as such.

Piwik PRO is stored locally on the servers of our website. The data is not passed on to third parties. For more information, please see the Piwik PRO privacy policy

The data processing is based on your consent pursuant to art. 6 para. 1 p. 1 (a) of the German Data Protection Regulation (DSGVO), provided that you have given your consent via our website. If the data is processed outside the EU or EEA within this framework, please note that a risk exists that authorities may access the data for security and monitoring purposes without you being informed or having the right to appeal. If we use providers in unsafe third countries and you consent, the transfer to a third country will be based on art. 49 (1) (a) of the German Data Protection Regulation (DSGVO).

You can change or revoke your consent at any time from the cookie declaration on our website.

6. EMBEDDED VIDEOS

Videos that are not stored on our servers are embedded on our web pages. To ensure that calling up our web pages with embedded videos does not automatically lead to content from the third-party provider being reloaded, we only display locally stored preview images of the videos in a first step. By doing so, the third-party provider does not receive any information.

Only after clicking on the thumbnail, will content from the third-party provider be loaded. This provides the third-party provider with the information that you have accessed our site as well as the necessary technical usage data. We have no influence upon any further data processing by the third-party       provider. By clicking on the preview image, you consent to the uploading of content provided by the  external provider.

The embedding of the videos is based on your consent pursuant to art. 6 para. 1 p. 1 (a) of the German Data Protection Regulation (DSGVO), provided that you have previously given your consent by clicking on the preview image or via the cookie banner. Please note that embedding videos from the providers listed below means that your data will be processed outside the EU or EEA. In the U.S., there is a risk that authorities may access the data for security and surveillance purposes without you being informed or having the right to appeal. The consent to embed the videos is therefore also the consent to the    transfer to an unsafe third country on the basis of article 49 (1) (a) of the German Data Protection   Regulation (DSGVO).

For more information on data processing by Vimeo and YouTube LLC, please refer to the privacy statements at https://policies.google.com/privacy?hl=en&gl=en and https://vimeo.com/privacy

7. EXPLANATORY NOTES AND SAFEGUARDS

We use technical and organisational measures to protect your data from unwanted access as thoroughly as possible. An encryption process is used on our pages. Your data is transferred from your computer to our server and vice versa via the Internet using TLS encryption. You can recognise this by the fact that the lock symbol in the status bar of your browser is closed and the address line begins with https://.

In order to enforce our legitimate interest pursuant to art. 6 para. 1 p. 1 (f) German Data Protection Regulation (DSGVO) in ensuring network and information security in the HAMBURG TEAM Group, we use SSL interception technology as part of our defence against disruptions and unlawful or malicious intrusions. Your following personal data may be processed:

  • master data,
  • access data to our systems,
  • log files,
  • IP addresses,
  • internal and external communication.

8. USER RIGHTS

When processing your personal data, the German Data Protection Regulation grants you, as a website user, certain rights:

8.1 Right of access (art. 15 German Data Protection Regulation) (DSGVO):

You have the right to request confirmation as to whether personal data related to you is being processed; if this is the case, you have a right to access this personal data and the information listed in detail in art. 15 German Data Protection Regulation (DSGVO).

8.2 Right to correction and deletion (art. 16 and 17 German Data Protection Regulation) (DSGVO):

You have the right to request the correction of inaccurate personal data concerning you and, if  necessary, to request the completion of incomplete personal data without undue delay.

You also have the right to request that personal data concerning you be deleted without delay, provided that one of the reasons listed as detailed in article 17 of the German Data Protection Regulation (DSGVO) applies, e.g., if the data is no longer required for the purposes pursued.

8.3 Right to restrict processing (art. 18 of the German Data Protection Regulation) (DSGVO)):

You have the right to request the restriction of processing if one of the conditions listed in art. 18  German Data Protection Regulation (DSGVO) applies, e.g., if you have objected to the processing, for the duration of any review.

8.4 Right to data portability (art. 20 German Data Protection Regulation) (DSGVO):

In certain cases, which are detailed in art. 20 of the German Data Protection Regulation (DSGVO), you have the right to receive the personal data concerning yourself in a structured, common and machine-readable format, or to request the transfer of this data to a third party.

8.5 Right to object (art. 21 of the German Data Protection Regulation) (DSGVO):

If data is collected on the basis of art. 6 (1) p. 1 (f) (data processing for the protection of legitimate interests), you have the right to object to the processing at any time for reasons relating to your individual circumstances. We will then no longer process the personal data unless there are demonstrably compelling legitimate grounds for the processing which override the interests, rights and freedoms of the data subject, or the processing serves to assert, exercise or defend legal claims.

8.6 Right to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority:

Pursuant to art. 77 of the German Data Protection Regulation (DSGVO), you have the right to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority if you are of the opinion that the processing of your personal data violates data protection regulations. The right of complaint can be asserted to a supervisory authority in the Member State of your residence, your place of work or the place of the alleged infringement.

9. YOUR CONTACT

In the event that you contact us by E-mail, telephone or fax, your inquiry including all resulting personal data (name, enquiry) will be stored and processed for the purpose of handling your issue. We do not pass on this data without your consent.

The processing of this data is based on art. 6 (1) (b) of the German Data Protection Regulation (DSGVO), insofar as your request is related to the fulfilment of a contract or is necessary for the implementation of pre-contractual measures. In all other cases, the processing is based on your consent (art. 6 (1) (a) of the German Data Protection Regulation (DSGVO)) and / or on our legitimate interests (art. 6 (1) (f) of the German Data Protection Regulation (DSGVO)), as we have a rightful interest in the effective processing of the requests sent to the company.

The data you send to us by E-mail will remain with us until you request deletion, revoke your consent to storage or the purpose for storing the data no longer applies (e.g., after your request has been processed). Mandatory statutory provisions - in particular statutory retention periods - remain unaffected.

10. EMPLOYMENT APPLICATION

It is possible to apply for the positions we advertise via our career portal. karriere.hamburgteam.de. Here you have access to all job postings and information on the application process. For the processing of your personal data in this situation, please refer to the specific information on our career portal in each case.

We process your data exclusively for the purpose of selecting applicants in accordance with section 26 (1) of the German Federal Data Protection Act (BDSG). There will be no data processing for other purposes.

Your data will be treated strictly confidentially. If your application is unsuccessful, your documents will be deleted no later than six months after the unsuccessful application is sent. The legal basis for this processing is art. 6 para. 1 p. 1 (f) German Data Protection Regulation (DSGVO) based on the legal interest of defending against possible litigation.

11. CAPTCHA

In order to protect our web forms from automated requests, we utilize a captcha from a third-party provider. As part of the captcha function, you may be asked to solve tasks or click checkboxes. The user entries made in this context and in some cases also the mouse movements are used to assess whether the entries originate from a human or an automated program.

As the function is provided by a third-party provider, the display of the captcha leads to the third-party provider’s content being reloaded. This provides the third-party provider with the information that you have accessed our site as well as the usage data that is technically required in this context. We have no influence on the further data processing carried out by the external provider.

The data processing takes place on the basis of your consent pursuant to art. 6 para. 1 p. 1 (a) of the German Data Protection Regulation (DSGVO), provided that you have previously given your consent to this.

Please note that the use of captchas may result in your data being processed outside the EU or EEA. In some countries, there is a risk that authorities may access the data for security and monitoring purposes without you being informed or having the right to appeal. If we use providers in unsafe third countries and you consent, the transfer to an unsafe third country will be based on art. 49 (1) (a) of the German Data Protection Regulation (DSGVO).

For more information on data processing by Google LLC, please refer to the privacy statements at https://policies.google.com/privacy?hl=en&gl=en

12. NEWSLETTER REGISTRATION AND DISPATCH

You may subscribe to a newsletter on our website. Please note that we require certain data (at least your E-mail address) to register.

The newsletter will only be sent if you have expressly given us your consent. Following your order on our website, you will receive a confirmation E-mail to the E-mail address you provided („double opt-in“). You can revoke your consent at any time. An uncomplicated way to revoke your consent is, for example, via the unsubscribe link provided in every newsletter.

Within the scope of the newsletter registration, we store further data in addition to the data already mentioned, insofar as this is necessary for us to be able to prove that you have subscribed to our newsletter. This may include the storage of the full IP address at the time of subscription or confirmation of the newsletter, as well as a copy of the confirmation email sent to you. The corresponding data processing is based on art. 6 para. 1 p. 1 (f) of the German Data Protection Regulation (DSGVO) and takes place to ensure that we can account for the legality of the newsletter dispatch.

If you order our newsletter, we ask you to agree to further newsletter tracking as part of the ordering process.

If you give us the necessary consent, we will include individual tracking pixels in our newsletters, which will enable us to recognize when the newsletter sent to you is opened and opened and to individualize the links in the newsletter in order to be able to evaluate at which time the user clicked on specific links.

If you wish to revoke your consent, please use the link provided in each newsletter to unsubscribe or modify your consent.

13. PERIOD OF STORAGE

We delete personal data, unless we have already informed you in detail about the storage period, when it is no longer required for the aforementioned processing purposes and there are no legal retention obligations that prevent deletion.

You can access the data protection declaration for our social media pages here.
